For the information of His Excellency the Governor.
Copy of a Report from the Superintending Clerk of the Secretariat Office, stating the Despatches which were sent from the Colonial Office for conveyance by the Indian Mail, on the morning of the 8th instant were, according to the usual practice, sent in a Leather Bag and not entrusted to go by that conveyance. Like the Government Despatches which are sent in general.
